We noticed that the fingerposts in the centre of the village were getting rather tatty.

​So the MCG Footpaths Group took the initiative to have this iconic East Sussex type direction post in the centre of the village completely refurbished. It is now back to 'as new' condition. Who needs satellite navigation?

Inspired by this success, the Footpaths Group started to refurbish the other 5 East Sussex type direction signs within Maresfield Parish. Flaking paint has been stripped, moss and algae washed off and the posts inspected for any repairs that may be required.
