Maresfield Photo Competition
The 2027 Conservation Group Photo Competition is now open for entries. Enter as many photos as you like and you will be in line for the £50 prize for best photo.
Selected entries will be used for the 2028 Maresfield calendar and images representing the seasons will be particularly welcome.
The closing date is 3 October 2027.
All entries will be judged by an independent judge.
Do make sure your images are in landscape format to suit the calendar. Images in portrait format can't be used.
Please have a read of the rules below before you enter.

Competition Rules:

The photos should be of landscapes, wildlife or village scenes taken somewhere in Maresfield Parish. If you would like to check the parish boundary, you can find a MAP on this page.

Each photo must be in landscape format (wider than it is tall) to be suitable for the calendar.

By entering you give the Conservation Group the right to use your photos on the MCG website and in the calendar and to crop or edit the images to suit the calendar format.

Entry is free and you can send in as many photos as you like. Photos taken in past years are good too!

The deadline for entries is midnight on Sunday 3rd October 2027.

Email your entry, giving your name and stating where, and in which month, the photo was taken to MaresfieldPhotos@gmail.com

Please attach the photos to your email in the highest resolution possible in jpg, jpeg or png format.

Judging takes place ‘blind’, in other words the judges do not know who took the images when they select the 12 photographs for next year’s calendar and the winning image for the cover.
