Photo Competition 2025
MCG’s inaugural photo competition has been a great success. Entries closed on 30 September 2024 and the best images were selected for the Maresfield Calendar 2025 by Brian Goode of the Uckfield Camera Club.
The £50 prize for the photograph used for the cover was won by Steve Eckhardt.
The calendar is now on sale at Maresfield Village Store at £8.50 and is proving popular. They would make great Christmas presents! Get yours while stocks last.

Everyone can enter for free, and you could win the £50 Amazon voucher!
Send in your best photos and you could be in line for the big prize. The 12 best entries will feature on the calendar, with all profits from the sale of the calendars going to charity.

It’s easy. There are only a few rules:

The photos should be of landscapes, wildlife or village scenes taken somewhere in Maresfield Parish. If you want to check the parish boundary, you can find a MAP on this page.

The photos should be landscape format, so they’ll fit nicely on the calendar:

Email your entry with your name and where and when the photo was taken to MaresfieldPhotos@gmail.com

Attach your photo in the highest resolution you can in jpg, jpeg or png format.

By entering your photos you give MCG the right to use them on the Conservation Group website and on the calendar and to crop or edit the images to suit the calendar format.

Entry is free so send in as many as you like before 21 September 2025. Photos taken in past years are good too!
All photos used on the calendar will be credited with the photographer’s name and a £50 Amazon Voucher awarded to the image chosen for the cover.
